Seiken Densetsu 3 / Trials of Mana (SNES)

This little gem was initially only released in Japan.  Though it was often referred to as “Secret of Mana 2”, it is only mildly related to Secret of Mana and is not a sequel.  I have never managed to get far in this game before I get into something else and end up losing my save files.  The original game is not in English, so unless you can read Japanese, you would need a ROM with a translation patch applied to it.

In 2020, an enhanced, 3D remake was released.  The game was given the English title of Trials Of Mana.  Along with this release, the “Mana Collection” was released for the Nintendo Switch.  This collection contained an official translated re-release of the SNES game for western regions.
